Software AI Engineer (AI): Building scalable AI-powered features, data pipelines, APIs, and digital-twin integrations for industrial products with an accent on RAG, vector search, full-stack development, and production-grade software. Focus on designing low-latency systems for large industrial datasets, integrating AI into operator interfaces, and optimizing models and workflows for performance, efficiency, and robustness.
Location: Hybrid role based in Fornebu, Norway, with Oslo also listed as a location

What you will do
- Design and implement scalable AI-powered features such as copilots, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, and search.
- Build reliable, low-latency pipelines for large-scale industrial data.
- Integrate AI services into digital-twin ecosystems and operator interfaces.
- Optimize models and workflows for performance, efficiency, and robustness.
- Collaborate with AI researchers, product teams, and industrial domain experts to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code for an AI-first industrial platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, complexity analysis, and system design.
- Professional experience building and deploying AI/ML-driven solutions.
- Experience designing scalable APIs and services in modern full-stack and mobile environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript or JavaScript, plus experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of search, optimization, applied AI, RAG, vector search, and security best practices.
Nice to have
- MLOps experience, including model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD for machine learning.
- LLM fine-tuning, evaluation, or prompt optimization experience.
- Experience with industrial domains, IoT, digital twins, real-time data, or time-series data.
- Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks.
