Senior Software Engineer, Production Suite

Location: Oslo, Norway; work involves production-site workflows and field operations.

What you will do

• Build the Production Suite that takes factory-fresh drones to units running the autonomy stack and passing acceptance.
• Develop tooling for software flashing, device configuration, factory acceptance testing, and results reporting.
• Work across Linux command-line tooling, Python, Docker, Kubernetes, SSH, remote execution, web APIs, and data formats.
• Reuse and adapt the existing end-to-end test suite for factory acceptance testing.
• Create operator-facing workflows that are clear, guided, and reliable without hidden steps.
• Collaborate with Operations, Test Automation, Hardware Enablement, and autonomy-stack teams.

Requirements

• Several years of software engineering experience, ideally with physical products such as hardware, robotics, industrial devices, or networking equipment.
• Comfort working on the Linux command line and across containers, orchestration, CI/CD, remote execution, and scripting.
• Experience deploying software to devices or edge hardware.
• A tooling and automation mindset, including pipelines and feedback loops.
• Ability to own problems end to end, work across team boundaries, and solve ambiguous technical problems pragmatically.
• Clear written and spoken English required.

Nice to have

• Production, provisioning, or manufacturing tooling experience at a hardware company.
• Python experience in infrastructure or tooling.
• Experience with edge deployment, factory acceptance testing, or device lifecycle management.
• Exposure to operator-facing GUI or workflow tools.
• Experience in safety-critical, defence, or regulated environments, or with Go and Rust.
