AI Technical Product Manager (QVAC)

Location: Remote, associated with Lugano, Ticino, Switzerland

What you will do

• Translate the QV.AC vision into AI use cases, feature proposals, product requirements, and user-focused solutions.
• Research user workflows, gather feedback, and identify meaningful applications for AI.
• Write product briefs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows for engineering and design.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and working prototypes using design, coding, and AI-assisted tools.
• Evaluate technical trade-offs involving response quality, latency, memory, battery consumption, privacy, devices, and models.
• Support prioritization and drive assigned features from discovery through development, review, and release readiness.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience, ideally with AI software products and technical engineering teams.
• Practical experience building, shipping, or prototyping AI-powered features.
• Working knowledge of inference, harnesses, model capabilities and limitations, context, evaluation, and local or on-device AI.
• Ability to turn ambiguous ideas into clear user problems, proposed solutions, and actionable requirements.
• Strong product judgment, prototyping confidence, product analytics, user research, and iterative software development experience.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to discuss technical trade-offs with engineers and explain them to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Experience with local AI, on-device inference, open-source models, AI assistants, conversational interfaces, or multimodal features.
• Familiarity with desktop or mobile product development.
• Understanding of peer-to-peer technologies and decentralized applications.
• Experience evaluating AI output quality and designing for uncertainty and errors.
• Experience working in a distributed team.
