Staff Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Wrocław, Poland; hybrid with two mandatory office days. Regular overlap with 9–17 CET working hours is required, and quarterly in-person meetings involve travel.

What you will do

• Own company-wide initiatives improving developer experience, platform stability, and business capabilities.
• Lead high-ambiguity, mission-critical projects and define execution paths balancing speed, quality, and sustainability.
• Drive architecture reviews, RFCs, and design documents while contributing hands-on when needed.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert and establish a high engineering quality bar.
• Coach and mentor senior engineers and strengthen technical leadership across the organization.
• Partner with engineering and product leaders to remove systemic delivery blockers.

Requirements

• 8–11+ years of software engineering experience or an equivalent track record of impact.
• Experience delivering initiatives lasting six months or more with broad product and technical impact.
• Expertise in distributed systems, system design, scalability, reliability, and security trade-offs.
• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure; Kubernetes; Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools; and CI/CD systems.
• Strong Linux/Unix, networking, observability, and cloud architecture fundamentals, including metrics, logs, and traces.
• Fluent command of AI in engineering and experience building and maintaining a scalable AI-enabled SDLC.

Nice to have

• Experience with Go, TypeScript, Docker, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, Grafana Cloud, Prometheus, or Sentry.
