TL;DR
Middle DevOps Engineer (GCP/Kubernetes): Operating and evolving production-grade Google Cloud infrastructure and GKE clusters for a social gaming platform with an accent on availability, security, scalability, and infrastructure automation. Focus on building reliable Terraform and Helm workflows, managing GitOps releases with Argo CD, improving CI/CD and observability, and resolving complex production incidents.
Location: Remote from Ukraine, Poland, or Portugal

What you will do
- Operate and continuously improve highly available, secure, and scalable GKE clusters on Google Cloud Platform.
- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform and Helm, and contribute to migration toward Terragrunt.
- Own GitOps-based releases with Argo CD and maintain CI/CD pipelines across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Azure DevOps.
- Build and improve observability and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki/ELK.
- Automate operational tasks, improve infrastructure standards and documentation, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Lead postmortems and apply improvements following production incidents.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
- Production experience with Google Cloud Platform, including GKE, Compute Engine, networking, IAM, DNS, and cost management.
- Strong production Kubernetes experience covering networking, ingress, autoscaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Strong Terraform skills, plus working knowledge of Helm and Docker.
- Experience with CI/CD, GitOps workflows, observability tools, Bash or Python scripting, and Linux and networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and TLS.
- Experience with on-call rotations and production incident response using tools such as PagerDuty. Upper-Intermediate English or higher required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Terragrunt and Argo CD.
- Background in iGaming or other high-load B2B/B2C products.
