Provider Credentialing Specialist II (Behavioral Health)

Location: Hybrid schedule in either the Nashville or Tampa office; remote candidates will not be considered.

Provides behavioral health software and SaaS solutions for clinical productivity, compliance and state reporting, billing, and business intelligence.

What you will do

• Monitor regulatory and accrediting developments across behavioral health, primary care, and medical staff services.
• Credential physicians, allied health professionals, and other practitioners, including insurance paneling for facilities and providers.
• Maintain practitioner databases, licenses, credentials, insurance contracts, and verification records.
• Monitor customer providers’ credentials and licenses, advise on renewals, and ensure timely completion of credentialing processes.
• Develop and maintain credentialing processes and standards, escalate credentialing risks, and support compliance with Joint Commission, CARF, Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements.
• Provide credentialing consultations and training, release information as legally required, and assist with customer call center operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in provider credentialing and insurance paneling.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to assess Partner credentialing requirements.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage concurrent projects, stakeholders, and priorities under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to build positive and effective relationships with internal and external leaders.
• Ability to work as a team player and represent company values, mission, and goals with internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Provider Credentialing Specialist certification through NAMSS.
