Practice Manager (Healthcare Operations)

Location: Remote; role supports hirify.global's United States professional corporation.

What you will do

• Run provider credentialing intake and primary source verification for licenses, certifications, education, training, work history, DEA registrations, and malpractice coverage.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready credential files and operate the clear-to-practice gate, including immediate removal of clearance when credentials lapse.
• Select, configure, and administer systems for credentialing records, expiry tracking, onboarding workflows, SOP version control, and compliance reporting.
• Own the US practice operations SOP library, including indexing, versioning, scheduled reviews, updates, and retirement of obsolete procedures.
• Turn provider onboarding plans into tracked sequences covering credentialing, system access, training, and start-date clearance.
• Run compliance checks, report gaps to the Head of Compliance, support audits, and prepare the function for potential payer credentialing and provider enrollment.

Requirements

• Experience streamlining clinical or healthcare operations in a technology-enabled environment and replacing spreadsheet-based processes with system-driven workflows.
• Hands-on experience with state medical board licensure, clinician credentialing, and primary source verification.
• Experience maintaining credentialing databases or record systems to an audit-ready standard.
• Experience developing and maintaining SOPs in a clinical or regulated operations setting.
• Working knowledge of healthcare or clinical operations compliance standards and experience checking operations against them.
• Comfort configuring operational tools, working with data and reporting, and implementing everyday automation.

Nice to have

• Experience in digital health, telehealth, or another technology-enabled care setting.
• Experience with credentialing or provider data platforms and operational workflow tools.
• Experience working with product or engineering teams to define operational tooling requirements.
• Direct experience with US multi-state provider credentialing or credentialing in a newly opened clinical market.
• Experience building an SOP program from scratch in a growing operation.
