Advanced Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Lead process development for new and existing products through the new product development process.
• Participate in research, product requirements definition, product conceptualization, and architectural analysis from a manufacturing perspective.
• Conduct 6M analysis, design and manufacturing analysis, and product risk analysis including pFMECA.
• Design and develop process flows, production-line layouts, custom workstations, fixturing, and production work instructions.
• Support make-versus-buy analysis, labor-cost estimation, and technical issue resolution.
• Coordinate with procurement to source, quote, order, and receive production equipment and materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
• Five to seven years of successful experience in production process design, development, and qualification.
• Strong mathematical and computer skills.
• Knowledge of material properties and engineering design principles.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and ability to meet deadlines.
