Large & Complex Loss Paralegal (Insurance)

hirify.global, through Keoghs LLP, provides legal and claims solutions to insurers and other organisations in the insurance sector, including complex property damage litigation and claims handling.

What you will do

• Support lawyers handling high-value household and commercial property damage claims arising from fires, floods, product liability matters, and other major losses.
• Obtain, chase, collate, and organise documents and evidence from clients, experts, and third parties.
• Prepare court, Counsel, and client bundles, factual chronologies, and legal research.
• Manage diaries, court deadlines, orders, hearings, and other critical dates.
• Arrange conferences and meetings and coordinate Counsel, experts, and other external parties.
• Support compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations and the wider progression of complex cases.

Requirements

• Degree-level education and/or postgraduate education.
• Previous experience working in a team handling insurance claims.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing demands from a team of lawyers.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with case management systems.
• Working hours of 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with one unpaid hour for lunch.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of disputes handled by the Property Risks & Coverage team.
• Experience handling housing conditions claims.
