What you will do
- Provide legal advice and support to Trade Unions and their members specifically concerning settlement agreements.
- Liaise with Union officers and assist senior solicitors in managing high-profile mass settlement exercises.
- Negotiate settlement agreement terms in accordance with current legislation and client instructions.
- Develop a specialized expertise in executing Settlement Agreements through provided training support.
- Work with the existing team to further market and expand the firm's service offering.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with a professional background in providing legal advice.
- Must be based in or able to work from Liverpool or Manchester.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to effectively influence other professionals.
- Ability to work sensitively and empathetically with clients while maintaining stakeholder relationships.
