Assistant Project Manager II (Facilities)

Location: Cumberland, Rhode Island, United States; onsite facility project work

Salary: $65–$72 per hour bill rate, OT40

What you will do

• Support planning, execution, and closeout of facility renovation, construction, infrastructure improvement, and major maintenance projects.
• Track schedules, budgets, milestones, deliverables, expenditures, purchase orders, invoices, and project documentation.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, Facilities staff, and internal customers.
• Support shutdowns, site access, logistics, occupant communications, commissioning, testing, and operational readiness.
• Monitor contractor performance, safety compliance, work quality, permits, inspections, and project records.
• Prepare status updates and communicate project schedules, impacts, and progress to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Facilities Management, Architecture, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in facilities, construction, project coordination, property management, or a related field.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation.
• Strong organizational, project coordination, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to perform onsite facility project activities in Cumberland, Rhode Island.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting capital construction or facility improvement projects.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project, Primavera, or equivalent scheduling software.
• Experience with work management, CMMS, or asset management systems.
• CAPM, PMP, IFMA, or a similar professional certification.
