Tech Lead .NET Developer (FinTech)

Location: Limassol, Cyprus; hybrid schedule with 3 days from the office and 2 days from home, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00.

What you will do

• Lead a development squad and provide technical direction aligned with business and engineering strategy.
• Design and maintain scalable microservices and distributed backend systems using C# and .NET.
• Develop event-driven architectures with asynchronous communication, messaging, queues, and pub/sub patterns.
• Apply Clean Architecture, Vertical Slice Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, CQRS, Event Sourcing, Saga, and Eventual Consistency patterns.
• Establish engineering standards, code review practices, testing strategies, and technical documentation.
• Improve system performance, scalability, observability, reliability, and fault tolerance while mentoring developers and collaborating with product, QA, and management.

Requirements

• Professional experience with C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs.
• Experience designing microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of messaging, queues, pub/sub, asynchronous programming, multithreading, and high concurrency.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Git, Agile, and Scrum.
• Experience with unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing, including testing asynchronous and distributed workflows.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, architecture, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
