Location: Larnaca, Cyprus; hybrid model with 2 days working from home

What you will do
- Own end-to-end solution design for cross-domain, company-wide, and global initiatives from requirements through go-live.
- Prepare solution design documents and Architecture Decision Records covering options, trade-offs, integrations, and data flows.
- Define non-functional requirements for availability, performance, recovery, security, retention, and cost.
- Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with domain architects, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
- Estimate design costs and validate high-risk decisions through proofs of concept.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable solutions across assigned IT verticals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience designing and delivering solutions across multiple technology domains.
- Fluent English is required; resumes must be submitted in English.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems and integration architecture, including REST, gRPC, event-driven patterns, and interface versioning.
- Practical experience with a modern programming language and the ability to review designs involving Python, C#/.NET, TypeScript, Swift, or Kotlin.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL and NoSQL databases, plus excellent communication skills.
