Sustainability Advisor (Mandarin Speaker)

Location: Hybrid role in Makati City, Philippines; limited travel of approximately 10% or less.

What you will do

• Advise corporate clients on sustainability-related risks, opportunities, disclosures, reporting frameworks, and regulatory expectations.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, respond to project requirements, and build relationships with senior executives and management teams.
• Monitor sustainability reporting standards, rating methodologies, regulations, investor expectations, and emerging disclosure trends.
• Analyze sustainability data and disclosures using ISS-Corporate platforms and research tools to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver client presentations, reports, advisory deliverables, white papers, webinars, and toolkits.
• Collaborate with sustainability, legal, investor relations, executive, and cross-functional stakeholders while supporting business development and product initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sustainability, environmental studies, economics, public policy, law, corporate governance, or a related field; a relevant Master’s degree is advantageous.
• 0–5 years of relevant experience in research, advisory, consulting, corporate governance, finance, regulatory or policy work, risk and compliance, sustainability, ESG, or related analytical and client-facing roles. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, organizational, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience using data analysis tools to synthesize and communicate complex information.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately under pressure, build senior stakeholder relationships, and learn evolving sustainability topics and regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG strategy, sustainability research, sustainability advisory or consulting, or responsible investing.
• Knowledge of ISSB, SASB, ESRS, CSRD, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, corporate sustainability reporting, responsible investing, corporate governance, or sustainability regulations.
