Corporate Governance Custom Research Analyst Trainee (Fixed-Term Contract)

Location: Brussels, Belgium; office-based five days a week. Must be based in Belgium from the first day of the traineeship.

Salary: €2,242.81 gross per month. Fixed-term contract running from 1 February 2027 to 11 June 2027, for 4.5 months.

What you will do

• Analyze corporate governance structures and shareholder meeting materials for global companies.
• Research governance data and prepare reports in English explaining client-specific vote recommendations.
• Apply customized corporate governance guidelines for institutional investors from Continental European markets.
• Support clients during the proxy voting season by delivering accurate research, data, and recommendations.
• Work with experienced analysts while contributing independently to custom research projects.

Requirements

• Fluent English, spoken and written, is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Law, or Political Sciences, or currently pursuing such a degree.
• Strong analytical ability, numeracy, and oral and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to assimilate large quantities of information.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate as part of a team.
• Organized and structured approach to work.

Nice to have

• Fluency in French or German.
• Prior experience in a relevant area.
