Business Analyst (Life Sciences)

Location: Spain or Denmark — Madrid, Barcelona, or Copenhagen.

What you will do

• Translate pharma customers’ business needs into user stories and technology requirements.
• Participate in IT implementation projects from initiation through completion.
• Analyze commercial processes and support clients’ data and analytics initiatives.
• Use data visualization tools to help clients become more data-driven.
• Run workshops, prepare documentation, and align with technical and business stakeholders.
• Structure and present complex situations to diverse stakeholders, including executives.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in a life sciences company.
• Hands-on understanding of commercial life sciences processes and experience participating in IT projects.
• Experience with Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and big data technologies.
• Experience communicating, running workshops, documenting requirements, and aligning with customers in English.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, collaboration, task-structuring, and attention-to-detail skills.

Nice to have

• BSc or MSc in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with agile and waterfall project management.
• Practical experience implementing cloud solutions.
• Understanding of GxP and knowledge of Veeva, IQVIA, or Salesforce.
• French or German language skills.
