Senior Insurance Business Analyst Guidewire Billing Center (AI)

Location: Barcelona, Spain; hybrid working model. Option to work abroad for up to 25 days per year.

What you will do

• Identify business needs through stakeholder engagement, workshops, observation, and discovery activities.
• Translate ambiguous problems into requirements, process definitions, opportunity statements, and success measures.
• Design, test, and refine products, process changes, and solution concepts through experimentation and iteration.
• Lead smaller projects and workstreams from planning and coordination through delivery, risk management, and handover.
• Improve internal processes and build lightweight tools and automations across Microsoft 365, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
• Define KPIs, support change adoption, and ensure governance, security, privacy, and compliance considerations are addressed.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience combining business analysis, transformation support, process improvement, project coordination, or delivery management.
• Working knowledge of Guidewire Billing Center and finance; experience with Policy Center is preferred.
• Functional experience with invoicing, payment schedules, commissions, delinquency handling, disbursements, and general ledger postings.
• Business analysis certification such as CBAP or PMI-PBA and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365, stakeholder management, requirements definition, process documentation, solution design, and KPI analysis.
• Practical AI experience in at least two of three areas is mandatory: customer or business value, day-to-day operations, or enterprise AI contribution.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Experience using Claude Code and Microsoft Copilot for lightweight development, automation, testing, analysis, documentation, or workflow optimisation.
