Algorithm Engineer (AI Recommendation & Search)

Location: Remote-first, with the role available in APAC, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, or Taiwan

What you will do

• Design and manage search recommendation services and models supporting content development.
• Apply machine-learning personalization methods and design patterns to improve content matching and distribution.
• Develop core content recommendation modules using data-driven strategies.
• Use recommendation-system and content-domain expertise to improve AI products, user experience, and business outcomes.
• Collaborate with content, business, and product teams to identify opportunities and define success metrics.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience; content-domain experience is preferred.
• Strong practical experience with machine-learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience developing large-scale, preferably content-related, user-facing applications.
• Strong cross-team collaboration skills and the ability to work with global content teams.
