Senior DevOps Engineer (Blockchain Infra)

Location: Remote within Europe, the United Arab Emirates, or the United Kingdom

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Operate and optimize production Kubernetes clusters, including autoscaling and capacity planning with Karpenter.
• Build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and improve CI/CD and GitOps deployment workflows.
• Deploy and operate middleware platforms including Kafka, Redis, and NGINX.
• Automate operational tasks with Golang and Python while improving monitoring, logging, alerting, and distributed tracing.
• Handle production incidents, root cause analysis, disaster recovery, on-call rotations, and collaboration with software engineers on platform developer experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes environments and using Karpenter for autoscaling and node lifecycle management.
• Strong Terraform experience, plus Linux administration and networking fundamentals.
• Experience operating Kafka, Redis, or NGINX; programming and scripting skills in Golang and Python.
• Experience with Git, GitOps, CI/CD, Docker, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

Nice to have

• Experience with blockchain RPC services, validators, indexing services, distributed consensus systems, or blockchain nodes such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana, or Cosmos.
• Experience with Argo CD, Helm, Helmfile, Flux, service mesh technologies, or multi-region and multi-cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, secrets management, distributed databases, high-performance networking, or large-scale performance tuning.
• Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges or blockchain infrastructure providers and contributions to open-source projects.
