Junior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Design and deploy scalable infrastructure and applications in AWS and GCP.
• Use IaaS automation tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Migrate environments from on-premise to cloud platforms.
• Handle operational and security alerts and incidents.
• Improve infrastructure, application, and security monitoring systems.
• Continuously improve performance and troubleshoot critical components.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Sofia
• Basic understanding of AWS and GCP public cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD services such as Gitlab or Jenkins.
• Basic knowledge of containers and orchestration systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and log management systems (Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, SIEM).
• Good understanding of networking and security concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls).

Nice to have

• Understanding of RDBMS like AWS RDS, MySQL, MariaDB.
• Basic Python or Bash scripting skills.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools and configuration management.
• Experience with on-premise private cloud infrastructures (VMware, KVM).
