Tools and Machinery Engineer (Humanoid Robotics)

What you will do

• Define manufacturing equipment and tooling requirements from early product development through production ramp-up.
• Design assembly fixtures, precision jigs, positioning systems, ergonomic tooling, lifting devices, and special-purpose machinery.
• Develop equipment and automated processes for robotic actuator and joint assembly, fastening, bearing installation, dispensing, cable routing, calibration, and testing.
• Define production line architectures, robotic cells, workstations, material handling systems, and factory layouts.
• Lead automation projects involving industrial and collaborative robots, machine vision, press-fit systems, controlled fastening, and automated assembly.
• Coordinate equipment FAT, SAT, commissioning, validation, manufacturing readiness, continuous improvement, and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent technical background.
• 5+ years of experience in tooling, equipment, manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, or special-purpose machine design.
• Experience designing manufacturing equipment, assembly tooling, production lines, automated workstations, or robotic manufacturing cells.
• Experience with NPI and production industrialization in robotics, automotive, aerospace, e-mobility, or other advanced manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, precision assembly, machine design, material handling, industrial safety, industrial robots, machine vision, fastening, press-fitting, dispensing, and automated assembly.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, Siemens NX, or Creo, plus PLM and project management tools; availability to travel nationally and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience in humanoid robotics, collaborative robotics, Industry 4.0, Digital Manufacturing, Digital Twin, AGV/AMR systems, MES, or Smart Factory solutions.
• Familiarity with manufacturing simulation tools such as Siemens Process Simulate, Tecnomatix, DELMIA, Visual Components, or FlexSim.
• Experience with PLCs, industrial communication protocols, machine vision, data acquisition, Power BI, and functional safety standards.
