Lean Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Belluno, Italy; regular on-site presence is required

Salary: €30,000–€38,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Support the implementation and development of the hirify.global Business System and monitor continuous improvement actions and performance KPIs.
• Participate in and progressively facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops using Lean methods including 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and structured problem solving.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and operational data to identify inefficiencies, variability, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to cost reduction through process optimization, waste elimination, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Support Lean Daily Management, performance reviews, and follow-up of actions related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to improve productivity and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 1–2 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Management in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, continuous improvement methodologies, and operational data analysis.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, strong problem-solving skills, and good project coordination abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Native Italian and intermediate English are mandatory.

Nice to have

• Experience facilitating Kaizen events or continuous improvement workshops.
• Knowledge of 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, SMED, Visual Management, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, production workflows, work measurement, time studies, and methods analysis.
• Exposure to automation or process optimization projects.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change-influence skills.
