Demo Workshop Manager Europe (Medical Devices)

Location: Onsite at the Demo Workshop in Nussloch, Germany; approximately 25% travel within Europe.

What you will do

• Build, develop, and lead the Workshop and Demo Coordination team.
• Own the end-to-end demo process, including logistics, communication, inspection, repair, and equipment returns.
• Manage demo, training, and loaner inventory, including replenishment, utilisation, sell-off strategies, and oversight of the remotely managed Newcastle demo lab.
• Design and govern inspection, maintenance, repair processes, and performance KPIs for demo and loan units.
• Develop workshop testing and repair processes with second-level support and route appropriate equipment into production repair.
• Use hirify.global Business System tools and customer and supplier insights to improve processes and support regional and global service roadmaps.

Requirements

• Commercially driven service leadership experience with a profit-and-loss mindset, service KPI implementation, customer value negotiation, and customer satisfaction improvement.
• Proven people-management experience, including workload planning, coaching, performance development, and improvement plans.
• Experience in change management, international teamwork, process standardisation, and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of the diagnostic market and ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements.
• Strong proficiency with Word, Excel analysis, PowerPoint, AI-enabled productivity tools, SAP or comparable ERP, and Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
• At least a three-year technical qualification or equivalent, five years of technical experience, one to three years of management experience, and fluency in English and German.

Nice to have

• Experience with Leica Biosystems equipment from a technical, application, or field service perspective.
• Workshop leadership, repair centre operations, or technical team management experience.
• Experience with hirify.global Business System, Lean, or continuous improvement methods.
• Power BI or advanced data analytics experience.
