Tech and Systems Project Coordinator (Physical Security Technology)

Location: Remote, United States; travel up to 50% within the U.S. and globally may be required.

What you will do

• Develop security system layouts, device schedules, redline markups, construction drawings, bills of material, equipment specifications, and related design documentation.
• Translate business and operational requirements into practical security technology designs for new construction, renovations, and lifecycle projects.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, architects, construction teams, vendors, security integrators, and contractors throughout project delivery.
• Support hardware lifecycle planning, technology standards, budgeting, cost estimating, capital planning, and expenditure tracking.
• Support system administration, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, acceptance, punch-list resolution, and project closeout.
• Provide project status updates, escalate risks, coordinate issue resolution, and create SOPs, training materials, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction, facilities, engineering support, technical operations, low-voltage systems, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ability to read construction drawings, technical documentation, and project specifications while managing multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, influencing, budgeting, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States, travel up to 50%, work evenings, weekends, or holidays when necessary, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, or related low-voltage systems.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visio, construction project delivery, facilities infrastructure, or building systems.
• Experience creating technical documentation, bills of material, or design standards.
• Exposure to LenelS2, ExacqVision, Milestone, or similar enterprise security platforms.
• Experience using AI tools to improve documentation, research, project coordination, communication, or workflows.
