Salary: $191,000–$297,000 annual pay range for Sr. Mgr Engineering; offers depend on location, skills, knowledge, and experience.

What you will do

• Lead Network Engineering within Network and Infrastructure Operations for a network spanning 400+ stores, fulfillment centers, and distribution centers.
• Oversee Versa SD-WAN, AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI connectivity, Juniper wired and Mist wireless infrastructure, and data center fabrics.
• Review network designs, including SD-WAN policies, AWS Cloud WAN, campus and wireless rollouts, and VXLAN fabric expansions.
• Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, network health monitoring, performance optimization, capacity planning, and SLA protection.
• Modernize network operations through Git-based changes, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated checks, AI-assisted alert analysis, and controlled change workflows.
• Coach engineers, manage roadmaps and backlogs in GitHub and Jira, approve production changes through the Change Advisory Board, and collaborate with security, cloud, store technology, fulfillment, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on network engineering across on-premises enterprise infrastructure and cloud networking, plus at least 3 years leading people or a technical team.
• Experience with SD-WAN, enterprise wired and wireless networking, data center fabrics, VXLAN/EVPN, BGP, OSPF, WAN technologies, QoS, and network segmentation.
• Cloud networking experience across AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or OCI, including Cloud WAN, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VNet peering, and hybrid connectivity.
• Hands-on network automation and infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, GitOps, and CI/CD, including migration from manual to peer-reviewed automated changes.
• Experience leading incident response, root cause analysis, problem management, engineering team development, vendor management, and roadmap planning.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; ability to communicate technical and business impact to engineers and executives.

Nice to have

• Versa VOS, AWS Cloud WAN, Juniper Mist AI, Marvis, Juniper QFX, Temporal, StackStorm, ServiceNow, PCI-DSS, SOC2, or AI agent and LLM tooling experience.
• Retail or fulfillment network experience, including high-transaction stores and always-on distribution environments.
• Certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or AWS Advanced Networking Specialty.
• Agile/Scrum experience and a track record of reducing operational toil, improving reliability, or lowering network costs.
