ADME/DMPK Scientist (AI Drug Discovery)

What you will do

• Guide the data strategy for ADME and DMPK models, including generation, sourcing, curation, and standardization.
• Work with Research and ML teams to build and validate property prediction models.
• Define modeling objectives, outputs, evaluation criteria, and meaningful scientific targets.
• Lead assay data generation and sourcing campaigns, including work with CROs and internal laboratories.
• Ensure assay provenance and data quality while diagnosing disagreements between predictions and experiments.
• Shape the integration of property prediction with generative design across hirify.global products.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent qualification with 5+ years of industry experience in DMPK, pharmaceutical sciences, bioanalysis, medicinal chemistry, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience owning ADME optimization on real drug discovery programs.
• Expert knowledge of Tier 1 and Tier 2 in vitro assays, including assay limitations and variation between laboratories.
• Experience specifying and overseeing assay work with CROs or internal laboratories, including protocol design.
• Ability to translate ADME/DMPK insights into modeling objectives and model behavior into actionable scientific decisions.
• Strong product-oriented scientific thinking and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience curating bioactivity data alongside ADME endpoints.
• Operational experience acquiring and integrating public, commercial, or proprietary scientific datasets.
• Experience with in vivo PK, PKPD modeling, IVIVE, or human dose prediction.
