What you will do

• Own enterprise server patching, compliance reporting, maintenance windows, and exception management using NinjaOne RMM.
• Administer Windows Server environments across on-premises, colocation, and virtualized infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, and print services.
• Build and maintain VMware vSphere virtual machines, templates, snapshots, resource allocations, and P2V/V2V migrations.
• Plan server operating system upgrades, hardware refreshes, workload migrations, provisioning, and decommissioning, with an initial focus on eliminating legacy operating systems.
• Develop PowerShell and NinjaOne automation for patching, health checks, provisioning, compliance reporting, monitoring, and alerting.
• Resolve server incidents, including P1/P2 outages, lead root-cause analysis, maintain runbooks, and keep CMDB, asset, configuration, and change records current.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in server administration or IT infrastructure operations.
• Demonstrated hands-on NinjaOne RMM experience, including patch deployment, monitoring policies, alert management, remote access, and automation scripting.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, and server role management.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere experience, including VM templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and working knowledge of enterprise backup, restore validation, endpoint security, and EDR platforms such as SentinelOne or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
• Must be able to work remotely from Oregon, United States, and comply with US export control requirements; access to certain ITAR-related products and technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, configuration management, CI/CD, and repeatable infrastructure build processes.
• Colocation or data center experience, including remote hands, rack hardware, IPMI/iDRAC/iLO, and power management.
• Experience with hybrid identity, Entra ID, AD Connect, Group Policy, ServiceNow, or equivalent ITSM platforms.
• Manufacturing, electronics, or complex global enterprise IT experience.
• Relevant Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, NinjaOne, or ITIL certifications.
