Lead Security Analyst (Cloud Security)

Location: Richmond Hill or Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Salary: $110,960–$160,960, with actual compensation varying by education, experience, skills, geographic location, and internal and external market factors.

What you will do

• Operate, maintain, and enhance CNAPP capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, sovereign cloud, and large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Manage Prisma Cloud and Cortex Cloud, including onboarding cloud accounts, subscriptions, projects, and Kubernetes environments.
• Define and tune cloud security policies, controls, alerts, guardrails, and workload protection capabilities.
• Drive remediation of cloud security findings with Cloud Operations, DevOps, platform engineering, infrastructure, and account-owner teams.
• Integrate cloud security platforms with DevOps, CI/CD, ticketing, reporting, and security operations processes.
• Automate security workflows and reporting using Python, APIs, and AI-enabled capabilities while mentoring security initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud security, cloud engineering, security engineering, or a related field supporting AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
• Experience with CNAPP, CSPM, CWP, CWPP, CIEM, or comparable platforms such as Prisma Cloud, Cortex Cloud, Wiz, Orca, Lacework, or Microsoft Defender for Cloud.
• Working knowledge of Linux, Kubernetes, containers, Terraform, Helm, Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience implementing or assessing controls for PCI DSS, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, IRAP, Protected B, CIS Benchmarks, and NIST frameworks.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Assurance, or Information Security is preferred.

Nice to have

• CCSP, CISSP, GCP-PCSE, AWS SCS-C02, AZ-500, CKS, or other relevant industry certifications.
