Software Engineer - Infrastructure (AI)

hirify.global is developing the autonomy stack for humanoid robots, combining simulation, reinforcement learning, and robotics infrastructure for real-world deployments.

What you will do

• Build deployment tooling, platforms, applications, APIs, and SDKs for a growing fleet of humanoid robots.
• Develop customer-facing tools for managing, monitoring, and integrating with Flexion deployments.
• Lead projects from scoping and technical design through implementation, rollout, and long-term ownership.
• Influence architecture and technical direction through design reviews and code reviews.
• Collaborate with research, robotics, and deployment teams to create reliable platforms and tools.
• Improve testing, documentation, code quality, system reliability, and AI-assisted development practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Senior-level experience owning production software projects end-to-end and influencing technical decisions across teams.
• Proficiency in Python and significant experience with at least one compiled language such as C++, Go, or Rust.
• Strong software architecture skills, including modular design, clean interfaces, performance, scalability, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience building and operating production backend systems, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and databases.
• Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, Docker, automated testing, code review, and AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience developing software for robotics, AR/VR, drones, vehicles, or other sophisticated hardware systems.
• Knowledge of networking or distributed systems, including pub/sub, message queues, or distributed computing.
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and full-stack web development.
