hirify.global is a Swiss startup building AI voice agents that make and answer phone calls for businesses, integrating real-time conversations with telephony and business tools.

What you will do

• Develop voice AI capabilities including turn-taking, latency measurement, LLM prompting, tool calls, and speech model evaluation.
• Collect and prepare data, run training jobs, fine-tune German and Swiss-German TTS/STT models on GPUs, and evaluate results.
• Build Python services around the LiveKit-based realtime media platform, messaging systems, and customer integrations.
• Develop features for the Next.js, React, TypeScript, Expo, and React Native applications.
• Support platform infrastructure with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, and service tooling.
• Create test calls, benchmarks, internal tools, demos, pilot agents, and technical materials for customers and partners.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at ETH Zürich or another university or Fachhochschule, or recently graduated in computer science, electrical engineering, data science, business and engineering, or a related field.
• Programming experience in Python or TypeScript, with good fundamentals in Git, APIs, and debugging for engineering work.
• For commercial work, a solid technical understanding and the ability to explain technology to customers.
• English proficiency is essential; English is the working language for all positions.
• Curiosity, independence, reliability, and the ability to balance committed working hours with studies.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, speech or audio processing, or machine learning.
• PyTorch, GPU training, or a related thesis or research project.
• Next.js, React, mobile development, Docker, Linux, or cloud platforms.
• Interest in sales, business development, or startups; German is useful for customer-facing work.
