Senior Product Engineer, Finance (AI)

What you will do

• Shape the future of the global Finance function in partnership with the CFO.
• Diagnose gaps in the Finance systems landscape and design the target state.
• Define and own the end-to-end AI transformation roadmap for Finance.
• Deliver technical solutions from prototype through production and codify reusable building blocks.
• Work with global Finance teams to identify high-impact use cases and lead adoption, change management, and upskilling.
• Track, measure, and communicate the outcomes of transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software or forward-deployed engineering experience.
• Strong product sense, commercial awareness, and focus on user experience and business impact.
• Ability to work independently through ambiguity and translate high-level direction into technical specifications.
• Resourceful, pragmatic problem-solving approach with strong end-to-end ownership.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs with infrastructure teams and present clear outcomes to executive stakeholders.
• Ability to work from the London location.

Nice to have

• Experience with finance systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Netsuite and automation or AI tools.
• Experience with data architecture, analytics, and business intelligence.
• Experience building software with Generative AI, LLMs, or automated agent workflows.
• Experience in fintech, payments, multi-currency ledgering, or regulated financial systems.
• Background in management consulting, systems integration, digital transformation, founding teams, or early-stage companies.
