Head of AI Enablement & Engineering

What you will do

• Set the AI strategy and a 12-month plan to triple product delivery capability, supported by measurable baseline metrics.
• Redesign the software delivery lifecycle around agentic AI, from specification and coding through review, testing, and release.
• Lead decisions on AI developer tooling, model access, AI gateways, evaluation, cost, and vendor independence.
• Partner with Information Security, Data Protection, Risk, and Compliance to establish guardrails for an FCA-regulated business.
• Lead a small AI Enablement team and help every Product and Engineering team adopt AI-native ways of working.

Requirements

• Experience leading an AI-driven transformation in a Product and Engineering organization with measurable results.
• Deep hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and LLM-based workflows.
• Experience building and leading high-performing engineering teams on strong technical foundations.
• Commercial judgment covering cost, return on investment, and customer outcomes.
• Experience designing controls and enablement practices in a regulated environment.
• C#/.NET and Azure experience is a strong advantage.

• Experience introducing agentic AI into infrastructure, observability, and data pipelines.
