Project Manager (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite in Vaughan, Ontario, Canada

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements for multiple engineering projects.
• Coordinate software, hardware, mechanical design, systems engineering, and verification and validation workstreams across the product development lifecycle.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and blockers, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies with engineering leads and leadership.
• Manage project budgets, expenditures, purchasing, vendor processes, cost tracking, and financial reporting.
• Support NetSuite project workflows and timesheet administration for labour allocation, project costing, invoicing inputs, and reporting.
• Lead status meetings, maintain project documentation, track decisions and action items, and enforce project management best practices.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of project management experience delivering complex technical or engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing physical product development programs integrating software, hardware, mechanical design, systems engineering, and verification and validation.
• Canadian Security Clearance is required.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies and the systems engineering V-model, including requirements traceability.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, or MS Project, plus experience with NetSuite integration and timesheet management.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Background in software, hardware, mechanical design, systems engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, regulated engineering, technology-driven, or startup environments.
• Familiarity with engineering workflows, software development lifecycles, and technical project constraints.
