What you will do

• Build AI workflows connecting financial data, documents, and conversations with tools that perform accounting actions.
• Develop evaluations from real accounting cases, investigate failures, and improve accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Build approval and human-review flows so automated decisions are dependable and inspectable.
• Work directly with accountants to simplify workflows and measure automation outcomes.
• Own AI workflows from prototype through production, including context, tools, and system performance.

Requirements

• Experience shipping LLM-based systems to production, including context, tool use, evaluations, and failure modes.
• Strong software engineering foundations across backend services, APIs, integrations, and data.
• Ability to build interfaces when needed, with experience relevant to frontend work.
• Good judgment about when to use AI, deterministic code, or human review.
• Ability to take ambiguous problems from investigation and experimentation into production.
• Active use of AI in engineering work, with responsibility for verifying its output.
