MRTT Communication System Designer Engineer (Audio Communication)

Location: Getafe Area, Spain; hybrid working model when possible.

What you will do

• Integrate audio communication systems for military aircraft platforms, including voice management, passenger address, wireless intercom, cockpit voice recording, external Audio COMSEC devices, and crypto key management.
• Support feasibility studies and translate user needs into system solutions.
• Define and allocate system requirements using Requirement Based Engineering and Model Based Systems Engineering.
• Develop engineering design documentation and prepare laboratory, ground, and flight test requirements.
• Release test analysis and correlation reports, and perform system integration, validation, and verification.
• Support design reviews, certification and qualification, technical publications, suppliers, production, procurement, and other cross-functional areas.

Requirements

• Degree or PhD in aeronautical, industrial, or telecommunications engineering.
• More than 3 years of experience developing or engineering audio and COMSEC communication systems for military aircraft.
• Strong written and spoken English is required.
• Knowledge of systems engineering, physical architecture, integration, simulation, audio communication technology, modification processes, and certification.
• Experience with system requirements definition and DOORS; MBSE tools such as LabVIEW, Matlab, Stakeflow, and Simulink.
• Knowledge of Airbus procedures, Agile methodology, digitalization for system design, problem solving, and decision making.

Nice to have

• Experience with M&L, A400M, or other aircraft platforms.
• Experience with Airbus Plateau working methods.
• Knowledge of international aviation regulations, including ICAO, FAA, EASA, and EUROCONTROL.
