Powertrain Debug Engineer (Hybrid Systems): Supporting software environments for engine test benches, prototype vehicles, and customer vehicles in hybrid powertrain projects with an accent on vehicle troubleshooting, calibration support, and operational reliability. Focus on maintaining development and validation systems, diagnosing hybrid powertrain issues, and supporting production, end-of-line, and dealership activities.

Location: Valladolid, Spain

What you will do

Support production, end-of-line, and dealership activities.
Collaborate with calibration teams during hybrid powertrain development.
Maintain software environments for engine test benches, prototype vehicles, and customer vehicles.
Support daily development and validation activities across the vehicle lifecycle.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a similar field.
At least 1 year of previous calibration experience.
Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics.
Experience with ETAS INCA, AVL Concerto, AVL Creta, Vector CANalyzer, DDT2000, and MATLAB/Simulink or similar tools.
English and Spanish required.
Category B driving licence mandatory.

Nice to have

Master’s degree in an automotive-related subject.
Experience with hybrid systems.
French language skills.
