Hybrid Powertrain Calibration Engineer | Testing, Validation & Calibration Projects (Automotive)

hirify.global Iberica develops and supports mobility technology for Spanish, Mexican, and Portuguese markets, covering propulsion systems, e-mobility, hydrogen, autonomous and connected driving, software, and simulation.

What you will do

• Execute validation plans to verify powertrain component behavior under failure conditions.
• Debug powertrain systems and support production, end-of-line, dealership, and calibration teams.
• Assemble, validate, and industrialize calibration data for powertrain components.
• Plan and perform engine test bench and vehicle tests covering base engine calibration, emissions, diagnostics, and driveability.
• Coordinate calibration development activities with junior and senior calibration engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a similar field.
• Minimum 1 year of previous calibration experience.
• Understanding of internal combustion engines and power electronics.
• Experience with ETAS INCA, hirify.global Concerto, hirify.global Creta, Vector CANalyzer, DDT2000, and Matlab/Simulink or similar tools.
• English and Spanish are required.
• Driving Licence B is required.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in an automotive-related subject.
• Experience with hybrid systems.
• French language skills.
