What you will do
- Manage EU-funded research projects, including reporting, deliverables, budgets, timelines, compliance, and consortium communication.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic laboratories, research institutions, and scientific communities using Furhat robots.
- Identify funding opportunities and coordinate grant proposals, including technical, impact, and budget sections.
- Supervise or co-supervise MSc and PhD students, research interns, theses, and research projects.
- Organize Furhat research events, conference workshops, and community engagement activities.
- Produce research insights, impact dashboards, publications tracking, and communications about Furhat’s academic work.
Requirements
- PhD in robotics, AI, cognitive science, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience coordinating research projects, preferably in EU-funded programs.
- Experience in academia or a research-intensive company or startup.
- Experience preparing grant proposals, managing academic consortia, and supervising Master’s theses.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English required; Swedish or other EU languages are a plus.
Nice to have
- Understanding of social robotics or conversational AI systems.
- Experience managing student projects or internships.
- Prior experience at a research-intensive company or startup.
