TL;DR
Strategic Technology Lead (AI): Leading strategically important, software-intensive initiatives across Saab's business units and product portfolio with an accent on software, data, AI, and cross-organisational alignment. Focus on orchestrating execution, managing dependencies and risks, and translating complex technology opportunities into strategic direction and business value.

What you will do
- Lead Polaris Frontrunner engagements from qualification through execution and value realisation.
- Align Business Units, Frontrunner teams, and Common Tech around shared objectives.
- Coordinate Common Tech contributions, maintain roadmaps, and secure delivery commitments.
- Track deliveries and proactively manage risks, dependencies, and obstacles.
- Facilitate planning, governance forums, and cross-organisational decision-making.
- Communicate progress, priorities, and escalation needs to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Background in R&D and development of complex software-intensive products and systems.
- Experience in product development environments within industrial or technically advanced organisations.
- Experience leading initiatives in matrix or decentralised organisations and aligning stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and technology-to-business translation skills.
- Professional proficiency in English and ability to pass security vetting are required; additional citizenship obligations may apply for security-cleared positions.
