Facilities Site Services Engineer

Location: Newport, UK, United Kingdom; on-site work in office and cleanroom environments

What you will do

• Deliver critical facilities management services across the Newport manufacturing site.
• Manage subcontractors carrying out routine and emergency tasks.
• Create permit-to-work forms, validate risk assessments and method statements, and prepare scopes of work for quotations and tenders.
• Control budgets, expenses, facilities work requests, work schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with support departments and manage cross-functional teams to resolve priority conflicts.
• Manage health and safety requirements in line with CDM 2015 and safe systems of work.

Requirements

• Time-served apprenticeship with a formal craft qualification.
• HNC or HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project experience.
• NEBOSH General Health and Safety Certificate.
• Experience in a dynamic manufacturing or industrial environment, including central facilities plant and equipment.
• Understanding of cleanroom working principles and experience commissioning and decommissioning plant and equipment.
