Dunning & Collection Analyst (w/m/d)

What you will do

• Extract, combine, and validate data from multiple systems and databases using complex SQL queries and advanced Excel techniques.
• Analyze customer payment behavior, delinquency rates, collection effectiveness, and dunning performance across customer segments.
• Develop dashboards and reporting frameworks tracking collection rates, days sales outstanding, recovery efficiency, and dunning success rates.
• Perform root cause analysis of collection challenges and payment failures, including payment methods, customer segments, and dunning strategies.
• Segment customers and cohorts by payment behavior, risk profiles, and response patterns to support targeted collection strategies.
• Collaborate with collection, finance, and IT teams to implement improvements and measure their impact.

Requirements

• Degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, business administration, economics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Expert-level SQL skills for extracting, transforming, and aggregating data from relational databases.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including functions, pivot tables, data modeling, and large dataset analysis.
• Practical experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Experience analyzing financial data related to accounts receivable, collections, payment behavior, or credit risk.
• Fluent English, strong statistical thinking, analytical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
