Location: Remote, with the possibility of working from anywhere in the world; department location: Berlin, Germany

What you will do
- Source new investment opportunities and qualify inbound leads through meetings with entrepreneurs.
- Evaluate potential investments through market research, product reviews, competitive analysis, metrics analysis, customer reviews, and operational and financial diligence.
- Support negotiations and prepare investment conclusions, transaction assessments, valuations, and presentations for management.
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses for potential transactions.
- Coordinate with legal and finance departments to support the execution of M&A transactions.
- Monitor M&A market trends and ensure initiatives remain within legal requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field with a strong GPA; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in private equity investing, corporate finance, banking, or M&A.
- Experience managing foreign business executives and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, financial concepts, financial modelling, business modelling, and valuation.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with curiosity, discipline, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive responsibilities independently and in a global team.
