Finance Controller, Technology

Location: Berlin, Germany; hybrid work with attendance at the Berlin campus 2 days a week

What you will do

• Manage financial transparency for globally used cloud tools and services.
• Establish cost accountability with technology and finance teams worldwide.
• Maintain cost-splitting and chargeback processes for group entities.
• Support procurement and global technology contracts through cost scenarios, forecasts, and financial models.
• Automate controlling tasks and improve financial processes with technology and finance teams.
• Prepare budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly variance analyses, and capitalization support for development projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in IT cost controlling.
• Strong financial analysis, data modeling, statistical analysis, and variance analysis skills.
• Advanced Excel modeling and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Proactive, pragmatic, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Understanding of cloud pricing models, charging methods, billing, and reporting.
• Experience with personnel cost controlling.
