Senior Software Developer (Python/Java) (Security & AI/LLM)

Location: Hybrid in Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa, Poland; three days per week from the office

Salary: 1,000–1,300 PLN per day on B2B

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain features for an Automated Security Retest Engine.
• Build Python-based processing pipelines, Java Spring Boot applications, backend services, and REST APIs.
• Integrate external tools, APIs, and AI/LLM-based services into security automation workflows.
• Improve the reliability, accuracy, and quality of generated security tests and analysis.
• Write automated unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with security specialists and product stakeholders while applying application security best practices and protecting sensitive data.

Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in Python and/or Java development.
• Backend application development and REST API experience.
• Hands-on Spring Boot experience for Java development or experience building modular, maintainable Python applications.
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices and automated testing.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good English proficiency and availability to work from the Gdynia, Gdańsk, or Warszawa office three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience working with both Python and Java, LLM APIs, or AI-assisted workflows.
• Application security testing, DAST, SAST, or security test automation experience.
• Experience with OWASP ZAP, Nuclei, Semgrep, pytest, PDF processing, OCR, or document extraction.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, Maven, CI/CD, Docker, cloud services, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, or Thymeleaf.
• Interest in cybersecurity, vulnerability management, and security engineering.
