Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid

Salary: 126,000–189,000 PLN annually, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design, build, test, and ship software features within an Agile/Scrum engineering team.
• Develop API-first, service-oriented applications using established architecture and coding standards.
• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into product workflows and use AI-assisted development tools to improve coding and testing.
• Write clean, tested, and documented code using Java, Python, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
• Work with MongoDB and other databases to support data modeling, storage, and retrieval.
• Collaborate on system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, observability, and product delivery with engineers, designers, and product managers.

Requirements

• Approximately 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience, including internships and co-op experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of API design, RESTful services, software engineering fundamentals, testing, debugging, and version control.
• Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL or relational databases.
• Familiarity with or strong interest in AI tools and LLM-based development, including GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered features, including prompt engineering, RAG, or vector databases.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, GCP, CI/CD, event-driven architectures, or microservices.
• Experience with legal tech, eDiscovery, government, or enterprise software.
• A portfolio, GitHub profile, or personal projects demonstrating coding ability.
