Software Architect (Embedded Avionics Software)

Location: Manching, Germany; on-site role with mobile working and flexible working arrangements where possible.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems.
• Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to integrate software into avionics systems.
• Apply aviation standards such as DO-178C and safety-critical software development practices.
• Test, validate, and verify software against aerospace requirements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science and 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing embedded software for avionics or aerospace applications.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++, Ada, and real-time operating systems.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks and deep learning techniques.
• Familiarity with ARINC 653, DO-178C, and safety-critical software development.
