Senior Developer - UIO (Frontend/CRO)

What you will do

• Architect, maintain, and deploy client-side experimental features in the Bloomreach Digital Experience Platform.
• Build time-limited A/B tests using modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to generate statistically significant business insights.
• Intercept, override, and inject custom features while protecting performance, Core Web Vitals, and platform maintainability.
• Lead code reviews and promote readable, modular, accessible frontend code across responsive viewports.
• Analyze customer journeys and experiment results to support conversion-focused product decisions.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and communicate technical concepts to commercial and product stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on experience with modern JavaScript, semantic HTML5, and advanced CSS/SASS architecture.
• Practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
• Experience with client-side A/B testing, DOM manipulation and injection, and conversion rate optimisation.
• Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, frontend performance profiling, and WCAG accessibility standards.
• Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics 4 and strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience mentoring developers, leading technical discussions, and working in large-scale multifunctional technical environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, service-oriented architecture, or enterprise digital experience platforms such as Bloomreach.
