Customs Compliance Specialist, APAC

What you will do

• Manage FTA qualification reviews, origin criteria determination, raw material HS classification reviews, supplier declarations, and supporting documentation.
• Partner with Customs Operations teams across APAC to execute FTA utilization processes and optimize compliant customs duty savings.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of FTA compliance programs and new APAC initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits covering FTA qualification, origin determination, record-keeping, and regulatory requirements.
• Define business requirements, test, and implement customs compliance tools and digital solutions.
• Develop customs and FTA training and monitor regulatory developments and their business impact.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in International Trade, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in customs and trade compliance, including tariff classification, country-of-origin determination, and FTA compliance.
• Understanding of customs regulations, rules of origin, international trade compliance requirements, FTA qualification, origin documentation, and compliance controls.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English is required.
• Proactive, self-motivated, curious, and committed to continuous professional development and high-quality compliance outcomes.

Nice to have

• Professional certification in customs declaration, customs inspection, tariff classification, or trade compliance.
• Experience with Python, Power Automate, AI tools, or data analytics tools.
