TL;DR

Material Planning & Customer Solutions Specialist (Supply Chain): Ensuring uninterrupted material supply and customer order fulfillment in a hybrid manufacturing environment with an accent on MRP-based planning, inventory control, SAP order management, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on analyzing supply risks, resolving shortages and planning exceptions, improving OTIF performance, and maintaining accurate supply chain data.

Location: Hybrid position in Guangzhou, China

What you will do

Develop and optimize material plans using MRP tools to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging.
Analyze demand forecasts, production schedules, inventory levels, safety stock, minimum order quantities, and supplier lead times.
Create purchase orders and replenishment signals, monitor supplier deliveries, and escalate shortages, delays, and capacity risks.
Coordinate with procurement, production, warehouse, logistics, sales, and quality teams to prevent material-related disruptions.
Process customer orders in SAP, monitor delivery milestones, handle inquiries and escalations, and track OTIF performance.
Maintain planning master data, prepare supply chain reports, support audits, and participate in process digitalization and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, production planning, or customer service.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRP/MPS systems and ERP tools such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis, with knowledge of demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics.
Business-fluent English is required. Strong communication, problem-solving, customer-handling, and cross-functional collaboration skills are also required.
