Lead Dynamics 365 Business Central Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the UK. Applicants must hold British Citizenship or UK Indefinite Leave to Remain.

Salary: £90,000–£95,000 per annum.

What you will do

• Act as a senior technical authority across the Business Central development function.
• Build and enhance complex AL extensions and custom solutions.
• Drive architecture decisions, platform improvements, and technical strategy.
• Support integrations with external applications and Microsoft technologies.
• Improve testing, deployment processes, and development workflows using automation and AI tools.
• Coach developers and collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Extensive Dynamics 365 Business Central development experience.
• Strong AL development and customisation skills.
• Deep understanding of Business Central finance processes.
• Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers.
• Knowledge of integrations, APIs, and modern development practices.
• Commercial experience with AI-powered development tools and strong communication skills.
